Major Special Event 2015-017/MSE. Location: 140-170 Business Center Drive. APN: 2328-021-08 to 14 and 2328-091-18. Applicant: Open Air Big Bear. The applicant is requesting approval to hold second annual North Shore Half Marathon road running race. This race is proposed on Saturday, October 3, 2015, beginning and ending on Business Center Drive. The event consists of a Half Marathon (13.1 mile), a 10K (6.2 mile) and a 5K (3.1 mile) road running race along Sandalwood Drive, through the Eagle Knoll Subdivision, along Stanfield Cutoff and North Shore Drive/State Route 38. Business Center Drive, a portion of Sandalwood Drive and the eastbound lane of State Route 38 from the West Boat Launch Ramp to Stanfield Cutoff will be closed to vehicles from approximately 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for the races. Approximately 500 participants are expected. Business Center Drive is located west of Sandalwood Drive.
